Tayberry

A cross between blackberry and raspberries species. The Rubus Tayberry is a hardy variety with arching-to-trailing viny stems covered in mid-green foliage and groupings of small white flowers in Spring. Large yields of large, red-purple berries can be expected from mid-Summer and into the Autumn. The berries are generally quite large and possess a sharp, sweet flavour. A great variety for jam making or freezing.

Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun in a sheltered position. Water regularly until properly established but avoid waterlogging. Some longer canes may require supports.

Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. This plant will be supplied in a grower’s pot.
