Rosemary 'Whitewater Silver'

Rosemary 'Whitewater Silver' is a striking evergreen variety cultivated primarily for its distinctive, arching stems and foliage that flashes with bright silver undersides, resembling the spray of rushing water. While it possesses the classic, resinous pine scent and flavour of traditional rosemary, making it perfectly edible for roasting meats and potatoes, it is most often prized for its ornamental value. In spring, it produces masses of pale blue to white flowers that are highly attractive to bees, adding vibrant life to rockeries and walls.

This plant is typically grown as a spectacular, low-spreading ground cover or as a trailing "spiller" plant cascading over retaining walls and the edges of large containers. It is generally hardy but requires excellent drainage to survive wet winters. For the best results and densest silver growth, plant it in a location with full sun. It is highly drought-tolerant once established and thrives in poor, gritty soil, suffering quickly if placed in heavy, waterlogged ground.

Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only - The plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
